01. WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY "FULL-SERVICE?"

Everything from Invitations to “I Do!” Full-service means we are your one-stop-shop for helping you create a cohesive design experience, beginning with your Save the Dates & Invitations and carrying into your Day-of Details (reception signage, printed, stationery and finishing touches of calligraphy). We take out all the guesswork and ensure your wedding pieces are unique and cohesive from beginning to end.  


02. WHEN SHOULD I MAIL OUT MY INVITATIONS? 

With the extreme delays the United States Postal Service is experiencing due to COVID, we recommend mailing your wedding invitations 2-3 months prior to your wedding date. This will help to account for any delayed or misplaced mail, as well as provide ample time for your guests to mail-in their RSVP’s. 


03. DO YOU WORK WITH CLIENTS OUTSIDE OF MICHIGAN?

Of course! Many of our clients are located outside of the Midwest. We have had the privilege of working with clients from Monterey, CA to Berlin, MA, and everywhere in between. Some items are trickier to ship, such as large signage, but paper travels beautifully!


04. HOW LONG DOES THE CUSTOM PROCESS TAKE?

The P&P Process takes an average of 9 weeks for design and production. Day-of Details take an average of 6 weeks, working backward from your wedding date. Every project is unique with respect to quantities and specifications, so upon booking we will establish a specific timeline that will work for your event schedule. We work with only a small number of Custom Clients each year, so you have our undivided attention during our time together!


05. I DON'T NEED INVITATIONS, JUST CALLIGRAPHY. CAN YOU HELP?

We reserve our Handwritten Calligraphy services (including Envelope Addressing and Day-of Services) for Custom Invitation Clients in an effort to provide the most cohesive design experience possible. Thank you for understanding!


06. WILL YOU MAIL MY INVITATIONS FOR ME? 

The only piece of the process we do not handle is the physical mailing of your invitations. Your assembled suites will arrive pristinely packaged and ready to be taken to your local post office, including tips and tricks for how to effectively communicate with your postal clerk. For liability reasons, we believe it’s important you see your invitations before they’re sent out, and we find most couples prefer it this way!


07. I LOVE SOMETHING I SAW ON YOUR INSTAGRAM, CAN YOU RECREATE IT?  

Thank you for your interest! The beauty of Custom is your designs are exclusive to you and your event, never to be recreated in the future. We therefore do not recreate custom work out of respect for our clients. Thank you for understanding!


08. DO YOU OFFER MIRROR RENTALS & SIGNAGE INSTALLATIONS?

While we are well-versed in writing on large scale signage and interesting materials, we do not carry our own inventory of rentals or installs. Let us know what you’re looking for and we will do our best to help guide you in the right direction!


09. ARE YOU CURRENTLY TAKING NEW CLIENTS?

Beginning August 2022, we will be on maternity and extended leave and no longer accepting new client work. Responses to all email and website inquiries will be delayed as we welcome our first baby! Thank you for understanding while we savor every moment of this transition.
